The Amsterdam Experience...
Amsterdam...wow!Neben einem Ausflug nach Den Haag (inklusive einem Abstecher ans Meer nach Scheveningen) gehörte m.E. auch der Besuch in der Heineken-Brauerei zu den Highlights. Nicht unbedingt wegen des Rundgangs durch die Brauerei an sich, welcher zwar ganz lustig, aber logischerweise auch Eigen-PR war, sonder vielmehr durch die kleine Episode, welche untenstehend dokumentiert ist.
In der finalen Bar, am Ende des Rundgangs angekommen, begannen wir munter, unsere Gratis-Chips in Bier umzutauschen. Mit meinem letzten Chip begab ich mich schlussendlich Richtung Bar, mit der festen Absicht aber, mit zwei Bier zurückzukehren. Folgender Dialog zwischen dem Barkeeper und mir spielte sich dann ab:
Barkeeper: "Hi, what do you wanna drink?"
Ich: "Two beers please...but I only have one coin left..."
Barkeeper: "Life's a bitch...(zapft zwei Bier und stellt sie mir hin)...but I'm not."
Truly Amsterdam!
